Palin Claims Press "Censors" Her

The Really: Palin tells objective commentator Hannity that the press "censors" her.

There you go again Sarah. Journalism major or not, you do not mean "censors" you mean "edits" you, and that is because there are too many hmms and ahs and dead air in your comments. Oh, and also because they are trying to use you for comic effect.

There is not a newsperson, blogger, or twelve year old kid with a camera phone who would not give half of next year's pay (and it will not be alot) to stand there smiling while you speak on any subject of your choosing. For as long as you like. Do they edit you? Does a spoiled kid with an ibook like to make You Tube virals?

Was the Couric question about Supreme Court cases a "katcha"? You bet. Most people in the law business can't rattle off a bunch of cases right out of their head.
I thought when I first heard about this Couric trick, that you were not treated fairly.

But when the video piece ran, it turns out she asked you about Supreme Court cases you disagreed with. A different question and a fair one. If you want to overturn cases you should at least know their names. But you were not censored. Censorship is when people's work or voice is prohibited, removed, silenced; and no one in America, especially tonight, wants nothing more than to hear you speak.

  1. My question is, when you watch the different interviews of Obama, Palin or McCain, why aren't the same type of questions asked of each of them? Watch how Katie glares at McCain and Palin in her interviews (during the sit down parts) and how she smiles at Obama. These aren't good interviews, they are jokes with Katie. That's why CBS news is floating in the bottom of the barrell.
