"When the hell is someone going to go on the record with this story?!"

The Really: The Alaskan bloggers who are providing some good information to the lower 48 (there isn't a higher 48 is there?) regarding Governor Sarah Palin seem to be wrestling with trying to provide good information while not being a party to rumor-mongering. This is honorable. But I detect a certain something else.
In reading our friends from the state that has one of the coolest state flags ever I came across this in the: The Progressive Alaskan Blog:
"I asked a few local progressive bloggers today, "What have we learned this week that we didn't already know about Sarah Palin?" It mostly comes down to two obvious things. We had the first pinned by last Monday afternoon. The second has come out over the course of the week:1) The McCain campaign vetted this candidate very poorly, very minimally.2) People in the Valley, in Alaska aren't just afraid of the vindictiveness and petty revenge of the Sarah-bots, they're afraid of the vindictiveness and petty revenge of Sarah Palin herself. "
